As the Election Commission of India announced that the Assembly Elections in Bihar will be held across five phases, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, on Wednesday, said that he is confident of defeating NDA.

In these elections, Nitish Kumar will be seeking a third term as chief minister, but this time in alliance with the RJD and Congress after he walked out of the NDA in 2013 snapping a 17-year-old alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
