Ravichandran Ashwin has been riding the purple wave for a while, but it’s Ravindra Jadeja whose performance in the Australian series has perched him on top of ICC’s Test bowlers ranking.
The long season seemed to have burnt Ashwin out – he picked up 15 wickets in the first two Tests against Australia and only six more in the last two.
Jadeja on the other hand picked up 13 wickets and even pipped Ashwin to take the sole top spot in the ICC rankings.
Both ICC’s top two Test bowlers, both spinners and lower order batsman – but what’s different between the duo?
