The Phogat sisters – Geeta and Babita – voiced their support for Dangal actress Zaira Wasim after she uploaded a letter on social media apologising and requesting the Kashmir youth not to see her a role model.
Actress Zaira Wasim, who played the younger Geeta Phogat in the recent blockbuster Dangal, had posted a rather mysterious open letter on her Instagram account on Monday afternoon.
It is believed that Zaira’s meeting with Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti, kicked off a spate of hate messages on Facebook aimed at her and the trolls included Muslim radicals who attacked Zaira for having done the un-Islamic deed of acting in a film.
