As expected, PUBG Lite is now available for PC gamers in the country with additional support for Hindi, which is a smart move by the creators.
Earlier today, we spotted PUBG Lite going through maintenance work before going live in the country and much to everyone’s delight, the game is alive and kicking.
We actually were able to download the setup file on our Windows PC and run the setup wizard, which installs all the required files on your PC.
The setup wizard for PUBG Lite works like any other install on Windows. The files for the game will get installed in the C Drive of the PC and once the setup is complete, you’d be able to play the game on your PC.
Users also have the option to download supporting drivers to run the game, just in case if they don’t already have them on their PCs.
The website also says that after users pre-register for the PUBG Lite India event, they will get a chance to use one of these event rewards, which will be delivered through email on 11 July.
Developers have previously confirmed that the Lite version of the game is as good as the Steam version and has been launched to compete with rival battle royale PC game Fortnite.
Players using the PUBG Lite version will be able to participate in battles of up to 100 players in a battle royal format. The game will offer support for budget gaming rigs and will be available to play in Solo/Duo/Squad and in TPP (third person perspective) mode.
