Intel, Microsoft And WPG Join Hands for a ‘Make In India’ NuPC

WPG, a company headquartered in Taiwan, Microsoft India, and Intel India launched NuPC, a new computing device that is also a part of the Make In India initiative.

NuPC is one of the smallest form factor PC characterised by infinite customisation. The NuPC is targeted towards B2B market and the makers believe that it will help a lot of SME’s in India adapt technology with ease.

NuPC comes in two basic variants, one powered by the Intel Core i3 processor and the other with an Intel Celeron processor. Both of the variants are also armed with Windows 8.1 and bing and will be upgradable to Windows 10 eventually.

India finds itself at an exciting turn, especially within the broader context of ‘Digital India’ vision. As the country aligns itself with the government’s technology vision, ‘Make in India’ will play a vital role. Price for the Intel Core i3 processor, with 2GB RAM and 500 GB storage is Rs 29,999 and 4GB RAM version with 1 terabyte storage will come at Rs 32,999

Pricing for the Intel Celeron processor, with 2GB RAM and 500 GB storage will be Rs. 18,999 and 4 GB RAM with 1 terabyte storage is priced at Rs 21,999.
