Amazon has been touting the Echo, a voice-assistant device to the world, and now Google has taken the feature to the next step with Google Home.

This small sized cylindrical device is totally reliant on your Google profile to give you the best of Search results with a simple voice search. Google is hopeful of integrating its vast information library into the Home and give users a holistic experience of connected devices aka ioT.

Google Home is a voice-activated home product that allows you and your family to get answers from Google, stream music, and manage everyday tasks.

The Google Home will be available later this year.
