Ducati India has launched three new Scrambler models, with updated specifications and features. These are the Scrambler 1100 priced at Rs 10.91 lakh, the Scrambler 1100 Special priced at Rs 11.12 lakh and the Scrambler 1100 Sport priced at Rs 11.42 lakh ex-showroom.
All the three bikes share the same engine, but have slightly different styling elements. The bikes come with a new L-Twin 1,079 cc two-cylinder, air-cooled engine that puts out 85 bhp of power and 88 Nm of torque.
These bikes are bigger than the regular Scrambler 800 model that Ducati sells in India.
The new Scrambler comes with an upgraded front fork and rear shock absorber set up. It gets 320 mm dual front disc brakes with ABS. It comes with three switchable riding modes - Active, Journey and City, with power being dialled down in the last mode for regular commuting.
The instrument console gets an additional LCD screen for more readouts, including tachometer, fuel level, speed, odometer, riding modes and trip information.
In addition, the Scrambler 1100 Special ditches alloy wheels in favour of spoked wheels for a retro look, leather quilted seat and a generous dollop of chrome. The Sport version gets Ohlin adjustable forks, and the dual exhaust is routed to the right side.
The 1100 is available in yellow and black colours, while the Sport and Special come in a different black shade and custom grey with yellow schemes respectively.
