Nissan Launches Two New Models Ahead Of Dubai Motor Show
The Nissan Patrol gets a face-lift along with upgrades in keeping with modern day technology.
Nissan is gearing up for the 13th Dubai International Motor Show as the company has launched not one, but two models ahead of the event.
According to Samir Cherfan, managing director of Nissan Middle East, “We received resounding feedback calling for greater luxury and performance, both on the road and off it. We are therefore extending our range with some extremely special, bespoke versions of the Nissan Patrol.”
The new variants are the Nissan Patrol Desert Edition and Nissan Patrol NISMO Edition.
The Desert Edition was developed in partnership with UAE rally champion – Dr Mohammed Ben Sulayem, who is also the FIA Vice President and President of the Automobile and Touring Club UAE.
The car is set to have its world premiere at the Dubai International Motor Show.
According to Nissan’s regional research survey, there was a large section of customers that wanted a more luxurious version of the Patrol. This gave birth to the Nissan Patrol NISMO Edition. It will be priced at around $100,000 in UAE.
Nissan also announced its partnership with Etisalat.
Powered by Etisalat’s network and M2M Control Center Platform, the Nissan SmartCar app can affect the way we interact with our cars.
With this app, Nissan Patrol MY16 and the 2016 Nissan Maxima users will be able to control key features of their cars like the AC and the car lock.
With releases like these, the Dubai International Motor Show keeps getting interesting.
