England unveiled their World Cup 2019 Kit and fans are nostalgic since the new Jersey is strikingly similar to the 1992 version.

It is worth noting that it was in 1992 that England last reached the final of the World Cup. From Cornflower Shirts in 1992 to the Navy trousers in 2015, England have wore almost every shade of blue.

Heading into the World Cup, England will start as strong favorites. They bat very deep and have consistently set and chased totals in excess of 300. The recent series against Pakistan was a proof of how destructive the English batting can be.

In spite of scoring in excess of 340 a couple of times, Pakistan couldn’t manage to restrict the English batting lineup as they comfortably chased down the totals on both the occasions.

Their only weak link seemed to be their bowling, but with Mark Wood and Jofra Archer set to open the bowling with Moeen and Rashid during the middle overs, they look well set to go all the way.

England start their World Cup campaign against South Africa in the opening match of the tournament on 30 May.
