Sr Bachchan Charged for Incorrectly Singing the National Anthem

Complaints were made against Bachchan alleging that he “used wrong words” and sang the anthem for the wrong duration.

A complaint has been filed against superstar Amitabh Bachchan in New Delhi, alleging that he sang the Indian national anthem incorrectly, during the World T20 India-Pakistan match on Saturday in Eden Gardens, Kolkata.

Bachchan was present at the Eden Gardens grounds and he sang the national anthem before the match began. According to media reports, two complaints have been made against him alleging that he “used wrong words” and sang the anthem for the wrong duration.

The complainant stated that the national anthem’s duration had been 1 minute 22 seconds instead of 52 seconds as is the norm.
