Twitter Reacts to India’s Dominant Win Over B’desh in First Test

Twitter celebrates India’s victory over Bangladesh in the Test series opener.

India’s impressive run of test wins is continuing with the victory over Bangladesh in the first test of their two-match test series on Saturday.

India won the match by an innings and 130 runs after the Bangladeshi batting order was skittled out for 213 runs in their second innings. This came after their dismal showing with the bat in the first innings, where they were bowled out for 150.

Mayank Agarwal scored 243 runs in India’s only innings, while Mohammad Shami picked up a four-wicket haul.

Here is how twitter reacted to the one-sided game.

Cricket analyst and commentator Harsha Bhogle tweeted about India’s amazing pace attack. “I never thought I would see a test match played in India where, in the second innings, you wouldn't see a spinner get a single over in a session. “

“Was absolutely brilliant to get the three fast bowlers together at the end. The camaraderie is there to see and that is a big part of their success.”

A fan remarked at the fact that the match ended in just it’s third day, joking about loss of revenue for the BCCI.

Another fan commented on how unlucky Bangladesh were to lose out on Shakib Al Hasan before the series. ”It could have been different game if shakib batted along with musfiqur in this test match @StarSportsTamil

The win meant that India get’s another win in the ICC Test Championship. India are undefeated and now have 6 wins.
