England skipper Eoin Morgan won the toss and elected to bat against India in their World Cup match in Birmingham on Sunday.

The hosts have replaced Moeen Ali with Liam Plunkett.

India have handed World Cup debut to young Rishabh Pant, who replaced struggling Vijay Shankar, in the team.

Pant was not named in the initial 15-man World Cup squad. The young wicket keeper batsman was roped in the World Cup squad after opener Shikhar Dhawan was ruled out from the competition with a thumb fracture.
