The Canada-based Global T20 League has reached the home leg of the tournament and while Yuvraj Singh lit up the initial weeks of the event, it was Shoaib Malik who ‘shattered’ a unique record on Thursday.
The Pakistani cricketer top-scored with 46 for his team Vancouver Knights during Qualifier 1 against Brampton Wolves as they scored 170/4 in 16 overs to win the match by 77 runs (DLS). Brampton Wolves were bowled out for 103 in 13.4 overs.
During his innings of 46, Malik hit three sixes of which two shattered the windows of the stands.
