The God of Cricket, the Master Blaster and the one of the most decorated cricketer to have graced the game, Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar, celebrates his 46th Birthday on Wednesday, 24 April.
As fans flocked to his Mumbai residence to see their idol on his birthday, many former teammates and current players took to social media to celebrate the special day. But one wish that caught everybody’s attention was from the prodigy who met the Master Blaster at the age of eight.
The 19-year-old took to Instagram and and penned down a beautiful and heartfelt poem for his “hero and mentor.”

Both Prithvi Shaw and Sachin Tendulkar hails from Mumbai. Many cricket pundits have compared the young Shaw with Tendulkar.
Shaw made his Test debut for the Indian team earlier this year and impressed one and all by his stupendous stroke play. Indian fans would hope that the youngster lives up to the expectations and perform just like his hero.
