Earlier, Narsingh Yadav had named a fellow wrestler Jitesh in his police complaints alleging that he spiked Narsingh’s food and supplements to stop him from competing in Rio. However, the supplements have reportedly been found to be clean. Moreover, the CID officers added that Jitesh is yet to be interrogated.

WFI President Brij Bhushan, who was at the SAI Centre, said that Narsingh has kept his views before the NADA which is expected to announce a decision on Thursday. After seeing the condition at the SAI Centre, he was of the opinion that anything can happen at the centre.

However, SAI Centre does not come under the purview of the WFI. Hence, the federation cannot do anything in the matter.
