Kolkata Knight Riders are currently at the third spot on the points table, just a step away from making the playoffs. After winning two matches on the trot, they definitely needed to unwind, and they did it SRK style!

A few players from KKR donned the actor’s hat, as they delivered some of the popular dialogues from his beloved movies. Check out the video here:

Opening batsman Chris Lynn’s “Battery nai bolneka” from Raees failed hilariously. Lynn stuttered twice before sheepishly exiting the stage, while his teammates laughed on.

Spinner Sunil Narine delivered Chennai Express’ famous dialogue, “Don’t underestimate the power of a common man” in classic desi style.

Piyush Chawla effortlessly carried SRK’s swag when he said, “Hum shareef kya hue, puri duniya hi badmaash bann gayi,” Raj’s famous line from Dilwale.

India’s under-19 stars, Shivam Mavi and Shubhman Gill, turned brothers as they played Ram and Lucky from the hit Main Hoon Na.

Skipper Dinesh Karthik spoke Raees’ signature line, “Koi dhanda chota nai hota aur dhande se bada koi dharam nai hota.” Of course, he added his flavour to it and said, “Koi match chota ya bada nai hota aur cricket se bada koi dharam nai hota.”

The shy Robin Uthappa barely looked at the camera as he said, “Dil toh har kisi ke paas hota hai, par sab dilwale nai hote.”

The last act was performed by spinner Kuldeep Yadav who, to be fair, got the longest and the most difficult line: Raees’ famous dialogue, “Din aur raat toh logo ke hote, Majmudar saheb, choro ka toh zamana hota.” Yadav certainly is better a spinner than he is an actor.

Shah Rukh Khan tweeted his reply to the video soon after.

“As much as I love my team, here’s the deal. I leave the cricket to you and you leave the acting to me,” SRK said.
