He was last seen in Indian colours on 10 July, and almost four months on, it’s safe to say that Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s fans aren’t missing him any less today.

The senior wicketkeeper-batsman, who took time off from cricket post India’s semifinal exit at the ICC World Cup, is yet to make any official statement about his future plans. And while he may not be playing the ongoing series against Bangladesh, his presence was felt at the first T20I at Arun Jaitley stadium in Delhi on Sunday, 4 November.

Fans were heard chanting Dhoni’s name throughout the game, and specially when India got their DRS calls wrong.

The former India captain was also the subject of a lot of chatter on social after India registered their first-ever T20I loss against Bangladesh, with MS Dhoni’s name even trending on Twitter.
