India and New Zealand are the only undefeated teams in the tournament thus far. Meanwhile, the focus has shifted to the big match on 16 June when India and Pakistan clash in Manchester. The chances of rain running high have left fans and supports quite on edge.

India enjoy a 6-0 scoreline against Pakistan in the World Cup matches. Both teams have played every single time since the 1992 World Cup, with India having got the better of their neighbours on all previous occasions.

With India’s game against New Zealand having being washed out, officials from BCCI have already reached England to ensure the India-Pakistan match is not marred by rain.

In order to counter rain affecting more matches, many former cricketers have given suggestions to ensure matches are conducted smoothly.

Before the clash, India find themselves fourth on the points table with five points, while Pakistan are languishing at the eighth position with just two points from four games.
