Harmanpreet Kaur carried an unwell child mascot ahead of the India-Pakistan World T20 match.

Indian women’s T20I captain Harmanpreet Kaur won hearts on social media when a video showing the captain carrying an unwell child mascot off the pitch, ahead of the India-Pakistan World T20 clash, surfaced on the internet.

According to The Indian Express, the child mascot complained to Harmanpreet about feeling unwell when the teams stood for their respective national anthems. The 29-year-old held her hand during the national anthems, and later, carried and handed over the child to a ground staff member.
