Second Seed Saina Nehwal lost to Japan’s Minatsu Mitani 13-21, 16-21 in the second round of the Japan Open.

The Indian Badminton ace will be missing the Korea Open Superseries, which begins on September 15. The reason for her pulling out of the tournament is not known.
