Real Prepare a Strong Comeback Against Wolfsburg in Bernabeu
Real Madrid on Monday trained with their full squad under the command of their head coach Zinedine Zidane, ahead of their crucial Champions League quarter final second leg clash against Vfb Wolfsburg.
Wolfsburg will be visiting Santiago Bernabeu stadium, where Real Madrid will attempt to make a comeback after a 0-2 defeat in the first leg.
All available players Real participated in the training session on Monday, as Raphael Varane and Karim Benzema have fully recovered. In fact, Benzema is set to start in this crucial encounter as Zidane in a press interaction updated his full recovery from the injury he sustained.
Meanwhile, Wolfsburg defender Naldo on Monday said the German football club has nothing to lose against Real Madrid.
He however acknowledged that everyone believes that Madrid can score three or four goals, but pointed out that his team’s defence can make this very difficult at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.
Earlier, after the shocking loss last week, Real coach Zidane said that he is confident that his side can make a strong comeback at home.
