A smiling Prithvi Shaw also said that Amit Mishra also scored a single run but an important one.

Shaw, when asked about his strategy that helped him tackle SRH bowling attack, he said that its important to put up runs on the board and due to the sticky pitch, he waited for loose balls.

“First six overs are important because if you put runs on board, it will take the pressure off the other batsmen. It was a bit difficult to pull the ball. Since their bowlers were bowling cutters on a sticky wicket, it was not pulling. I waited for loose balls.”

When asked about Delhi’s tendency of losing wickets at the most crucial moments, he said, “I think we like to make every game interesting. Everytime things are going well, we give away two-three wickets,” he said.

“But i think that’s the charm of T20 cricket. Till the time you don’t feel the pressure, its not as much fun.”
