The former Chennai Super Kings teammates Ravindra Jadeja, Suresh Raina and Mahendra Singh Dhoni have been best buds – both on and off the field – for as long as we can remember. Hence, it came as quite a shock when media reports surfaced that Jadeja has not extended an invitation to Indian skipper Dhoni and his Gujarat Lions skipper Raina for his wedding.

However, Jadeja quickly sorted out the confusion. According to a Sportskeeda report, Jadeja said in an interview that Dhoni and Raina are very close to him and hence they do no need an invitation card. The Saurashtra all-rounder added that if he had to, then he would send a special invitation card to people close to him.

The Indian cricketer will get married to Reeva Solanki on 17 April. Jadeja will host a party for Team India and Saurashtra teammates a day before the wedding.

Ravindra Jadeja is a part of Gujarat Lions franchise who will make their debut in IPL this season. They will kickstart their season on 11 April against Kings XI Punjab.
