According to the CricInfo report, BCCI has also asked the West Indian cricket association to include a three-day warm fixture during the tour.

The dates for the fixture are said to be finalised by 13 May, CricInfo further reported.

Now, the rescheduling will also mean that CWI will also have to change the schedule for the Carribean Premier League (CPL), which was initially supposed to start on 21 August and end on 7 September.

CWI CEO Johnny Grave, according to the report, confirmed the change of dates for this year's CPL – It will now be played from 4 September to 12 October.
