With Devendra Jhajharia grabbing a gold in the men’s javelin throw F46 event at the 2016 Rio Paralympics on Tuesday night, India’s medal tally at the event has gone up to four.

Celebrating the spirit of the country’s para-athletes is this new video, created by Adidas, featuring Major DP Singh.

Singh is India’s first blade-runner and a war hero who has run over 18 marathons.

The video is part of Adidas’ special edition of shoes created as an ode to para-athletes.

It’s a pair of shoes designed for just one foot — two shoes for the left foot or two for the right — put together for these inspirational athletes who defy all odds in life.
