Virat Kohli praised the match winning effort of Yuvraj Singh and Mahendra Singh Dhoni on Thursday, saying the “greats” showed why they were pivotal to the team's progress.
Both Yuvraj and Dhoni smashed outstanding centuries to help India post 381 for six after being 25 for three in the fifth over. The two shared a 256-run stand for the fourth wicket.

Getting 381 from 25 for 3 was outstanding. We knew we’d get wickets at some stage or the other but we bowled at the more difficult part of the day. The guys showed really good character. We pulled it back nicely in the end. Having won the series, just before the Champions Trophy, the key will be for us to express ourselves and work out what is the best opening partnership... I’d say we are only at 75 percent of our potential. We hope to play to our full potential in Kolkata.
India went on to beat the visitors by 15 runs to take an unassailable 2-0 in the three-match series.
