Bhojpuri actor Ravi Kishan joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday. He was inducted formally in the party in the presence of party President Amit Shah.
Actor Manoj Tiwari made the announcement earlier through Twitter.

This, however, is not the first time that Kishan has joined a political party. Earlier in 2014, he contested elections on a Congress ticket.
Kishan figures among the actors who have been actively supporting PM Modi’s Swachch Bharat campaign.
