The cast and crew of Gully Boy, including actors Ranveer Singh, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Vijay Varma and director Zoya Akhtar paid a surprise visit to a multiplex in Mumbai recently right after the screening of their film. The team wanted to experience the audience’s reaction first hand and they also ended up interacting with the crowd.
Ranveer and breakout stars Siddhant and Vijay a.k.a. MC Sher and Moin performed a rap battle for the audience just like in Gully Boy. They also gave out freebies and gladly posed for selfies with the fans.
Gully Boy has been doing gangbusters at the box office. After a fantastic Valentine’s Day opening the film which also stars Alia Bhatt has already crossed the Rs 100 crore mark. The film’s hip-hop soundtrack and catchphrase Apna Time Aayega have become a minor phenomenon.
