One of this year’s most awaited releases - Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy, releases on 14 February. A special screening of this Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt was held in Mumbai on Wednesday night and both the lead actors turned up to watch their upcoming film together. Gully Boy explores Mumbai’s gully rap and hip hop scene that grew from the city’s slums and chawls led by names like Divine and Naezy. The film is a departure from the usually ostentatious world that Zoya’s films inhabit.
This is Ranveer’s first release this year after the big success of Simmba in December 2018 and Alia’s first release after the hit Raazi last year. Here are pictures from the special screening of Gully Boy:
