On Sunday, numerous protests were held across Australia against Indian mining giant Adani Enterprises' proposed Carmichael coal mine.

One of the bigger protests was held at Bondi beach, where people came together to “Stop Adani”.

The project that costs $16.5 million, will provide power to 100 million Indians, was supported by the Australian government and opposition in March.
