1. Four More Shots Please
What would ‘Sex and the City’ look like if it was made by Indians? Well, we don’t know for sure, but the similarities between SATC and ‘Four More Shots Please’ are hard to miss.
That said, all of us had a different take on Amazon Prime’s ‘Four More Shots Please’. Is some of it narrow, superficial and vapid? Perhaps. But does it also have its moments that genuinely stir emotion and make you feel something that’s almost, I daresay, relatable? Definitely.
Could it have benefited from better writing, characters from a wider range of backgrounds, better acting, and maybe a few ounces less of bad writing? Listen to the podcast to find out.
2. Gully Boy

With rappers Naezy and Divine pooling efforts into Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Gully Boy’, it’s no real surprise that the film’s music is already trending. The movie’s version of ‘Mere Gully Mein’, Divine and Naezy’s track from 2015, has already racked up over 19 million views on YouTube.
What do you forward to in ‘Gully Boy’? Well, if Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Kalki Koechlin and Zoya Akhtar coming together isn’t enough to attract your attention, turn your eyes and ears to the real star of ‘Gully Boy’ – the music.
3. Conversation With a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes
Ted Bundy killed at least 30 women across United States from 1974 to 1978. These are the numbers that we know of (he confessed to at least 30 homicides after his arrest). He murdered women, decapitated them, committed rape, necrophilia, and even came back to his crime scenes to have sexual intercourse with the decomposing remains of many of his victims. Bundy’s crimes, his arrest and trial are the topic of Netflix’s ‘Conversation With a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes’.
4. Road Rash
Our throwback segment on this episode of Pop Sanskriti looks at Road Rash, a video game that released in 1991. Most ‘nineties’ kids would remember it as the game that taught them the rules of the road, namely:
1. Baseball bats and chains are a great way to navigate traffic.
2. The road is meant for illegal and high-speed racing.
3. Old ladies on the street aren’t always looking for help.
4. Avoid cops at all costs.
