Prime Minster Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping attended a bilateral meeting on Sunday ahead of the G20 Summit.

This is their second bilateral meeting after the two leaders met in June on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO ).

Modi, who arrived in Hangzhou from Vietnam on Saturday, also attended the BRICS - Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa - meet after his brief engagement with Xi.

Narendra Modi took to Twitter to inform his mitron about his day. And it looks like Modi has had a “good”, “fruitful” day.

Modi also tried his hand at writing in Chinese.

Didn’t understand? Neither did we... But Modi quickly translated it for us. Thank you!

It seems as if he is enjoying the cultural experience.

And his portrait. Duh!
