Yes, you’ve read that right. According to an Italian newspaper, La Repubblica, these are some of the most common surnames of new entrepreneurs creating jobs in Italy’s biggest regions between January - August 2015.

The growing activity of foreign citizens as autonomous, traders and truck drivers are filling the archives of the Chambers of Commerce of the main regions of the country.

Interestingly, India’s own Singh has also made it to the list. There about 300 people with the surname who have started new ventures in Italy. in the same period.

Overall, Hu was  the surname more common among business owners born between January and August of 2015 not only in Lombardy but also in Piedmont and Veneto.
