Just days after the horrific Brussels attack, a possible explosion and gunfire have been reported during the police operations in the district of Schaerbeek.
Belga news agency reported the blast took place at the start of the operation in Schaerbeek. The area has been cordoned off now.
News reports also suggest a man was ‘neutralised’ during the operation.
At least 31 people were killed and 300 wounded in Tuesday’s attacks at the Brussels Airport and a subway.
