Overnight Showers Bring Down Mercury in the Capital

The minimum temperature in Delhi-NCR settled at 23 degrees Celsius.

Overnight showers in some parts of the national capital on Wednesday brought down the mercury level to normal for this time of the year.

"The maximum temperature was recorded at 38.2 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature settled at 23 degrees Celsius," a MeT official said.

Light rains and thunderstorm in few areas on Wednesday evening had provided relief to Delhiites from the sweltering heat with the mercury falling up to nine notches.

The weatherman has predicted a clear day on Friday with the minimum and maximum temperatures settling around 39 and 24 degrees Celsius respectively.
