Atithi Devo Bhavah Should Be Respected: Yogi Adityanath
Addressing journalists, the UP Chief Minister said strict action will be taken against anyone who misbehaves with tourists. He said if adequate security is provided to the tourists, the number of people visiting Taj Mahal will increase from 40,000-50,000 to 2.5-3 lakh.
He also said tourism projects worth Rs 370 crore have been launched in the city of Agra. He added that interlinking of Agra-Vrindavan-Mathura is important for development of tourism industry.
Will Improve Transport System in Agra: Yogi Adityanath
Yogi Adityanath said his government is trying to strengthen the transport system in Agra.He said there is already an air force station in the city, and funds have already been allocated to build an international airport.
To address the shortage of drinking water in Agra, the Chief Minister said a rubber check dam would be built near the Taj Mahal which would not only solve the scarcity of drinking water supply but also be good for the monument's conservation.

Adityanath Arrives at Taj Mahal
Yogi Adityanath has arrived at the Taj Mahal. He is scheduled to spend half an hour at the graves of Mumtaz Mahal and Shah Jahan.
