Bypolls were held in 15 constituencies in Karnataka on 5 December, and with just four days to go for the results, which will be announced on 9 December, all eyes are on the state again.

For Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa, who still hasn’t completed a term as CM, and the BJP, which just came to power in the state, these bypolls are critical.

But why are polls being held again, barely four months after Karnataka got a new government? And who is likely to form the government after this election?

Will the Congress and the JDS make a comeback? Or will the BJP emerge victorious?

Our correspondent in Karnataka, Arun Dev, joins us today, who has been covering Karnataka politics for the past 10 years. Together, we’ll walk you through Karnataka’s future.
