A day after Uddhav Thackeray met NCP president Sharad Pawar, the Shiv Sena on Friday, 22 November, announced that the chief minister will be from their party.

The Congress on Thursday said that the government formation talks between the three parties have entered the ‘last leg’.

The Congress, NCP and Shiv Sena are scheduled to meet in Mumbai at 4 pm later in the day.

A day after Uddhav Thackeray met NCP president Sharad Pawar, the Shiv Sena on Friday, 22 November, announced that the chief minister will be from their party.

Uddhav, Aaditya Thackeray Meet Sharad Pawar at His Residence in Mumbai

Shiv Sena leaders Uddhav Thackeray and Aaditya Thackeray met NCP leader Sharad Pawar at his residence in Mumbai on Thursday evening. Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut and NCP leader Ajit Pawar were also present at the meeting.

The meeting took place on a day when Congress leader Prithviraj Chavan said in New Delhi that his party and the NCP have "complete unanimity" on all issues concerning government formation in Maharashtra and will now hold talks with the Shiv Sena to "finalise the architecture of the alliance".
