As soldiers battled Jaish-e-Mohammed militants in Jammu and Kashmir's Sunjwan army camp, Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday accused the Centre of having a "non-existent" policy for Kashmir, and blamed the BJP-PDP alliance for the bloodshed in the region.
He also attacked the prime minister, saying while he was "dithering", soldiers were paying with their blood because of the "opportunistic" alliance in Jammu and Kashmir.

The Congress has often attacked the government on its Kashmir policy, and its alliance with the PDP in the state.
The congress president did a comparison of the contradictory statements from both sides of the alliance. As BJP says that Pakistan will have to pay the price of the deaths of the soldiers in the Sunjwan Army Camp attack, the Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister, on the other hand, is of the view that a dialogue with Pakistan is necessary in order to end the bloodshed in Jammu and Kashmir.
Mehbooba Mufti, in a tweet, had said that a dialogue with Pakistan is necessary in order to end the bloodshed. The chief minister also expressed her concern on being called an anti-national, but went ahead with the statement for the sake of the people of her state, according to her tweet.
The attack on the army camp comes at a time when there have been scores of ceasefire violations from Pakistan's side.
