As heavy rains continue to batter Bihar, a man, in a heartbreaking video, can be seen profusely crying at the thought of abandoning his rickshaw as he is stuck in chest-deep water in a flooded street in Patna.
In the video, which is being widely shared on Twitter, the rickshaw driver is seen in tears, afraid of leaving behind his source of income. Voices from the background can be heard asking the man to leave his vehicle and go ahead, but he stands there and sobs copiously. The people then console him saying that they would take care of his rickshaw till the rain settles.
Several parts of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh were on Monday reeling from floods following incessant showers over the past few days, with the death toll in rain-related incidents mounting to 134 in the country.
The weather department has forecast a long delayed withdrawal of Monsoon and more rains for Patna, where several areas still remain submerged due to heavy rainfall over the past three days.
