  • In a strongly-worded statement, Shiv Sena, NDA’s key ally on Wednesday rebuked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his recent remarks on corruption in India and asked him to refrain from taking jibes at the opposition, and “malign” the country while on foreign soil.

  • Shiv Sena said that throwing mud at Robert Vadra, and the Gandhi family needs to stop, as it is now time to take action against them if they have indulged in any wrong doing. Taunting Modi, the Sena questioned if scams in BJP-ruled states can also be attributed to the Gandhi family..

  • Sena’s words come in response to Modi’s previous observation on Sunday in Doha where he said he“faced problems” in India because he deprived many people of their “sweets” and saved over Rs 36,000 crore annually by stopping leakage and theft in government schemes.
