ISRO to Launch PSLV-C42 on 16 September From Sriharikota
ISRO will launch PSLV-C42 from Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh on 16 September, reported ANI. The PSLV will carry two foreign satellites, NovaSAR & S1-4, into space.
J&K Municipal Polls in 4 Phases From 8 October
Municipal elections in Jammu and Kashmir will be held in four phases. Date of polling would be Oct 08, Oct 10, Oct 13 & Oct 16. Counting of votes will take place on Oct 20 after all the phases are over.

Fresh Landslides in Sikkim; Road Communication Hit Gangtok
Continuous downpour on Friday triggered fresh landslides in North Sikkim, already battered by rains and widespread landslips since Sunday.
There was no information on loss of human lives due to the landslides, a district official said.
The fresh landslides were reported at Passingdong village in Dzongu.
The residents of the houses that are in danger have been shifted to safer locations, the official said, adding that incessant rain in North Sikkim since Sunday is triggering landslides in different areas at regular intervals.
