Woman Gangraped by Nine for Several Days in UP

A woman was kidnapped from her home and gangraped by 9 in Up, no arrests have be made yet, Police sources said.

A woman was allegedly kidnapped from her house by nine persons and later gangraped by them, police sources have said.

The victim hails from Luhari Gavi village in Kotwali Raja Ka Rampur in UP, her ordeal continued for several days as she was gangraped by all nine accused.

No FIR was lodged in the case forcing the victim to approached the local court after the incident. The police said, a case of gangrape was registered against the nine accused after an order was issued by the court.

In her complaint, the victim stated, that one Ashik along with eight associates kidnapped her and then took turns in raping her, they threatened to kill her when she tried to protest.

The police added that no arrests have been made so far but the Kotwali Raja Ka Rampur police station is looking into the matter.

On March 11, in a similar incident, a woman was allegedly gangraped for several days by one Jamshed along with his three associates, Devendra Shanker Pandey, Police Station officer at Kotwali Raja Ka Rampur said.

He added that an FIR was registered in the matter, but again no arrests have been made so far.
