The Indian Army destroyed three live mortar shells that were found after the recent ceasefire violations by the Pakistan Army at Karmara village in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district, on Tuesday, 22 October. These mortar shells were 120 mm in size.

Pakistan army had violated ceasefire in Qasba and Kirni sectors of Poonch district at about 3:45 pm on Monday, 21 October.

Earlier, security forces had defused nine live mortar shells fired by the Pakistan army from across the Line of Control (LoC) at Sandote, Basoni and Balakote villages in the Poonch sector of Jammu and Kashmir, on 18 September.
