Momos originated in Tibet and have become hugely popular in India – in by lanes, on highways and even in posh malls. So much so that Delhi felt the need for “Ye Dil Mange Momos’ – a festival exclusively for the snack.
There, our favourite roadside snack was seen in brand new avatars as vendors were invited to set up stalls and experiment with unique flavours.
Apart from the standard chicken and veg varieties, we got a taste of some yumcious momos like chocolate, cream, afghani and even the tandoor momo. The high point of the festival was vodka momos.
