A girl apparently hanged herself to death in a village in Kuwargaon area in Badaun (UP), two days after she was allegedly raped by a man, police said on Wednesday.
She was allegedly raped on 9 April, and was apparently depressed over the incident. She ended her life on Tuesday night, Superintendent of Police, Anil Kumar Yadav, said.
He said an FIR was registered against the accused and has been arrested.
