While Maharashta CM Devendra Fadnavis thanked PM Modi and Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley for reducing diesel and petrol prices by Rs 2.50, Twitter reacted to this "BIG Cut" rather hilariously.

Minutes after Finance Minister Arun Jaitley made the announcement, a bevy of hilarious tweets ensued. While some mocked the Modi government for the paltry dip, others just wondered aloud – and sarcastically – what they would do with all the dhan raashi.

Mr Jaitley, we, however, are truly grateful for the (comic) relief!
