Sikkim’s ‘Dear Breeze Morning’ lottery is a popular state lottery conducted every Thursday, with each ticket priced at Rs 6. The first prize of the lottery is Rs 26.03 lakh, while the second prize is a sum of Rs 9,000 which is given to 3,600 winners.
About 36,000 participants receive a third prize of Rs 500, while the fourth prize – a sum of Rs 250 – is awarded to some 36,000 valid winners. There is also a fifth prize of Rs 120 (given to 3,60,000 lottery ticket holders with matching serial numbers), and a consolation prize of Rs 1,000 (given to 359 valid ticket holders).

The winners can claim their prizes by filling up the claim form, and submitting it after carefully reading the instructions.
There are seven weekly lotteries held by the Sikkim state lottery department:
- ‘Dear Smart Morning’ – Conducted every Monday, with results declared at 11:55 am.
- ‘Dear Fresh Morning’ – Conducted every Tuesday, with results declared at 11:55 am.
- ‘Dear Starter Morning’ – Conducted every Wednesday, with results declared at 11:55 am.
- ‘Dear Breeze Morning’ – Conducted every Thursday, with results declared at 11:55 am.
- ‘Dear Early Morning’ – Conducted every Friday, with results declared at 11:55 am.
- ‘Dear Bloom Morning’ – Conducted every Saturday, with results declared at 11:55 am.
- ‘Dear Wake Morning’ – Conducted every Sunday, with results declared at 11:55 am.
The lottery is conducted at the Directorate of Sikkim State Lotteries under the Finance, Revenue and Expenditure Department in Deorali, Gangtok.
