SC to Hear PIL Against President’s Rule in Uttarakhand

The court’s observation came when advocate ML Sharma sought urgent listing of the PIL on the issue.

The Supreme Court on Tuesday said it will hear a PIL challenging the imposition of President’s rule in Uttarakhand next week. “Let it be listed next week,” a bench comprising Chief Justice TS Thakur and Justices R Banumathi and UU Lalit said.

The court’s observation came when advocate ML Sharma sought urgent listing of the public interest litigation (PIL) on the issue.
