Amidst the unending debate on intolerance in the country, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat urged people at an event in Bengaluru to ‘accept different beliefs.’

Speaking at the valedictory ceremony of RSS Akhil Bhartiya Shrung Ghosh Shibir “Swaranajali” at Yelhanka in Bengaluru, RSS chief said that everyone should accept people of different beliefs, ideologies and serve the nation to make it a superpower. ISRO chief K Radhakrishanan was the chief guest at the event.

Bhagwat spoke on ‘inclusion as the core of Hindu culture’ and the importance of recognising unity in diversity, reported The Times of India.

Inclusivity is the core of Hindu culture. We stand for unity in diversity. Our tradition says we need to sustain everything, accept all nature and every other tradition. India’s diversity is to be celebrated and not to be opposed.

He also stressed on the importance of youth power.

Soon we will be the youngest nation in the world. So we need to develop the youth by teaching those ethics to make India truly great.

Bhagwat said that that PM Narendra Modi’s Make in India initiative should turn into Made in India initiative, reported The Times of India.

Only leaders and the government cannot make India powerful. Mere talking and debating won’t do. We should show it on ground.
